Connaught A and B entered two triples each into the annual Keith Banks Memorial triples held at Hingham on Sunday 17th November 2019.

Connaught A's two teams(Dave Quadling,Mike Minshull and Paul McDonald),(Di Quadling, Jim Squire and Owen Secker) were drawn in group A consisting of 5 teams.

1st game saw Paul's block lose to Harling Unicorns, 2nd game was against Owen's block, which Paul won 8-5.Paul then won 8-7 against Forncett but unfortunately lost the other two games, finishing on 4 points.

Owen won 8-7 against Carleton Rode's Karl Newby, the eventual group winner, both with 6 points but Owen had +11 shots against Karl's +17.

Connaught B's two teams were also both drawn together in group D but the triples of Shropham and Carleton Rode were too much for them.

Owens block played Wymondham's Jon Sparham,Debbie Sparham and Andrew Jackson in the 1/4 Final and won 12-5, then played Carleton Rode's Trish Taylor, Ann Biddulph and Angela Bond in the semi-final but lost 5-7,they won 5 of the 8 ends and a dropped 4 on the 6 end cost them dear.

The Final was  contested by the two Carelton Road teams, which was won by Terry Newby,Morris Taylor and Karl Newby

The cash Prizes donated by Hazell Banks was presented by her son Russell thanks to them both

Thanks to Hingham for hosting and to Cynthia Powell for the tea's etc and to Bob Oatway for Organising
